Oh, this is so sad, wonderfully chilling. Poor lamb, of the fanged four, Dru is the only one who's hopelessly lost. The other three have found redemption in one way or the other. And of the four, she's the only one who wanted God and, through Angelus, she's completely divorced from Him.

And yes, Angelus would take his time, play the charade so delicately and viciously. There's so much in the spareness of this that breaks my heart. Thank you.
