I thought this was excellent, so much so I'd like to archive it if you'd let me.
Angelus was so proud of making and breaking Dru, and Angel so thoroughly ashamed, that it had to be something this dark, this evil. Forget the puppy dogs nailed to doors, this was the Angelus version of artwork.
I enjoyed the detached style of writing, and how spare it was in the larger detail, it made the whole thing so much more horrific.
